My name is Pastor Douglas DiBell, and I was born in Pardeeville, Wisconsin.  I have been the pastor at New Life Community Church of the Nazarene for a short time, relocating here from Michigan in July of 2011.  I have also served other churches in Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin.  I bring over twenty years of experience of working with all ages of people in the local church.

Rhonda Lynne, my wife, was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin.  We were married on May 19, 1990.  God has blessed us with two boys, Stephen (14) and Joshua (13).  Like most pastoral families we have our challenges in life.  But Jesus is the one we have learned to go to with all of life's problems.  Without Jesus, we have no hope in this life.  With Jesus, we have a hope that is out of this world.

Although I didn't have the opportunity to experience a Christian home early in my life, through my employer I came to see God's love and the salvation available to me.  At the age of 23, I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.  I relinquished complete control of my life to Him to lead me wherever He willed.  I committed my life experiences and ministerial abilities to service in the local church while preparing myself in college for full time pastoral ministry.Through pastoral ministry I have strived to proclaim the Good News of God's love.  I desire that all men and women come to know the saving grace of God.  I work towards nurturing all in their spiritual development for future leadership in the ministry.  I pray that people would see Jesus in me and seek for themselves that which they see.

Our church family at New Life Community Church of the Nazarene would love to get to know you and your family.  As you look through our website, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have

The Life that God offers to each of us is available to us through the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.  We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.  We also believe that Jesus rose from the dead, and through that same power we too are brought to new life.  We believe that we all have sinned and accordingly deserve nothing but eternal death; that we need the new life to take root in us.

Sprouting plants don’t remain sprouts for long.  They either wither up, or grow.  We too, want to grow into the people that God wants us to be.  We often use the word “Christ-likeness” to describe this.  That’s a pretty good word.  What is it to be like Jesus?  Imagine giving of ourselves and serving others as he did.  Imagine the inner peace that’s there no matter what comes our way.  This is our goal, Christ-likeness or bust.

Healthy, growing plants have another tendency.  They produce some kind of fruit.  Apple trees give us apples.  God programmed that apple tree in its DNA to make apples in season.  There are many trees, with many fruits.  With us it is no different.  We call the abilities God has given us “gifts.”  Some people have been gifted with music, others have been gifted with handiness and can repair just about anything.  There are many gifts, and everyone has a gift.  A vital part of newly sprouted life growing up is its branching out and bearing this “fruit,” or for us, using our gifts
